Nothing Can Stop Us Now

We don't know how… it can be any better. We'll travel hand-in-hand across this baby wonderland!
If you’ve been following our journey for any amount of time, you probably know: We’ve written a lot of blogs over the past four years. Some hopeful. Some heavy. A lot of them somewhere in between.
But this one? This one’s different. This one has mouse ears, matching red shorts, and a castle in the background because…
We’re going to be DADS.
This is not a drill. Or a hypothetical. Or a vision board moment. This is happening.
Like the ride… it started calm. Then chaos. Then magic.

We took a trip to Walt Disney World the day we had our 8-week ultrasound. This granted us the opportunity to take announcement photos we’ve dreamed about for years. And because our life is a walking metaphor, the whole journey mirrored Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway:
We started with a plan.
Things immediately went sideways.
There were moments of unexpected turns, singing fountains, and emotional loops.
And at some point, Goofy was definitely in charge.
But somehow, we ended up right where we were meant to be—with smiles on our faces, ears on our heads, and a photo that says it all.
Four years. One little heartbeat. Infinite gratitude.
The truth is, this hasn’t been an easy road. We’ve been through appointments, setbacks, waiting, hoping, re-hoping, and redefining what strength looks like.
We’ve carried this dream through every twist and turn—and now we’re holding something real:
An ultrasound. A December due date. A future that’s finally here.
This baby already has our whole hearts.

To everyone who helped us stay on track (even when there wasn’t one): thank you.
Thank you for your love, your prayers, your good vibes, and your gentle nudges forward when things felt stuck. This moment belongs to all of us. We’ll be sharing more as things grow (literally and figuratively), but for now… we’re just soaking this in.

“Nothing can stop us now…” and we wouldn’t want it to.
We hope you’ll stick around as the ride continues—nursery prep, baby gear opinions, and probably a few “we don’t know what we’re doing” moments. But if there’s one thing this journey has taught us, it’s this: You don’t need a map. You just need love. And maybe a stroller with cup holders.

Ohmygoodness Sean and Ben! My heart is overflowing for you. 💛 Auntie Lisa
